In cucina con Tano passami l’olio
Tano Simonato is a flamboyant Michelin starred chef with a love of olive oil hence the name of his restaurant which translates as “Tano pass me the oil”. When he invited me into his restaurant in Milan I was expecting to be given a short interview and at best be allowed to take a couple of quick piccies. 10 hrs later, at 1am in the morning, after a full evening’s service and with a camera full of pictures I truly understood what it means to be a chef. Tano returned the compliment when he used my photos for his stand at “A Taste of Milano” 2011.
