Food through my eyes

A word on photography... My husband started me on my photographic journey back in 2005 whilst we were travelling through South east Asia. I had barely owned a camera until then and suddenly found myself with a digital SLR and absolutely no idea how to use it. I still have a lot to learn but whilst my husband was busy capturing beautiful landscapes I slowly began to experiment with still lifes and close up shots in markets and from there my love of photography has grown. My photos are pretty raw and I've still a long way to go on my photographic journey but I come alive when I get a chance to photograph the wonderful world of food. I hope that my photos portray this passion and allow you to see food through my eyes.
